Director of Product

About the Role

Join our Product & Engineering department as Director of Product to lead the design, development and growth of our Data Platform, Data Network and connected Data Products. You will work closely with the Chief Product Officer to translate the company's vision into actionable strategies, own strategic initiatives, and lead by example to create a Product Organization that represents the voice of the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product strategy for the company's portfolio, collaborating closely with the CPO
• Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and work with Product Marketing on positioning and communication
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap with clear goals and timelines, aligned with Engineering Leads and Product Design
• Build and lead a high-performing team encompassing Product Management and Product Design
• Own the development of the product handbook defining tools and processes used throughout the product development lifecycle
• Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Drive successful product launches and go-to-market strategies through collaboration with product marketing and sales enablement

Requirements

• 7+ years in Product Management with 3+ years in product leadership roles
• Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing product teams with a culture of innovation and empowerment
• Experience in technical software products with on-premises deployment options (data integration experience is a plus)
• Strong track record of defining goals and outcomes for autonomous product teams
• Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities and translate them into revenue-generating products
• Strong knowledge of modern software development methodologies and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels
• Proficiency in English required; German language skills are a plus
