About the role
As the Director of Content Ratings, Korea, you will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous evolution of Crunchyroll's ratings and compliance operations in Korea.
You will be accountable for the end-to-end ratings ecosystem, including regulatory alignment, operational workflows, tooling, and team performance, ensuring scalable, high-quality delivery across simulcast and catalog content.
This role is both a strategic and operational leader, responsible for setting regional direction, managing a team of ratings and metadata professionals, and representing Crunchyroll with external regulatory bodies such as the KMRB.
You will partner closely with global Content Operations, Localization, Legal, and Marketing to ensure content is launch-ready, compliant, and aligned with audience expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the ratings and compliance strategy for Korea
- Manage end-to-end ratings ecosystem and operational workflows
- Lead and manage a team of ratings and metadata professionals
- Ensure regulatory alignment and compliance with KMRB and other regulatory bodies
- Partner with global Content Operations, Localization, Legal, and Marketing teams
