The Engineering Team employs some of the top engineering talent who are constantly working to improve processes, quality and techniques, with the goal of producing the highest quality software solutions in the industry. The lines between traditional QA and software engineering are blurred here, with quality being considered at all stages of development. Our team is comprised of very talented and highly motivated individuals, who pride themselves on working smarter, not harder. We favor a Lean approach to our product development, following agile workflows such as Scrum and Kanban depending on the directive of the team. Continuous Delivery is important to us, and we are constantly looking to improve our automated testing and continuous integration.

As Director of Engineering for our Data & Insights pillar, you possess strong technical and leadership skills required to oversee multiple engineering teams, aligning technology strategy with business goals, and ensuring successful delivery of software products. As a member of the global engineering leadership team, you are responsible for hiring, building, leading and mentoring engineering teams and collaborating with other cross-functional teams around the world.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple software engineering teams, ensuring they are working efficiently and are aligned with organizational objectives.
• Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to engineering managers and senior engineers, helping them grow as leaders.
• Lead efforts to recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent – to ensure we build high-performing, diverse teams that collaborate effectively.
• Foster an environment where teams feel pride and ownership in their product and Rithum as a whole. Create and nurture a positive, inclusive, and innovative engineering culture that aligns with company values and promotes teamwork, diversity, and collaboration.
• Encourage an attitude of proactive responsibility (finding problems before the client does), and a sense of ownership and urgency in resolving client-facing production problems quickly. Create a culture where people don't just point out problems but also become a part of the solution.
• Develop and communicate the long-term technical vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals. Work with C-level executives to translate business needs into actionable engineering plans.
