Role Overview

As the Director, Deal Desk and Strategy at Vanta, you will own the strategy, structure, and execution of our global Deal Desk function, driving Sales velocity while protecting commercial integrity across every deal Vanta closes.

The Deal Desk team is the connective tissue between Vanta's high-growth Sales organization and the operational rigor required to close complex, global deals accurately and efficiently. Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Accounting, and Legal, this team is essential to how we scale our revenue motion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a global Deal Desk team across NAMER, EMEA, and APAC, developing team members, establishing coverage models, and hiring for the open EMEA and APAC roles
  • Own deal strategy, improve the frameworks, discount guardrails, approval matrices, and escalation paths that allow Sales to move fast with the right controls in place
  • Serve as the trusted strategic partner to Sales leadership on complex, large, and non-standard deals, bringing a commercial point of view
