About the role
Accountabilities:
- Lead the operational lifecycle of assigned enterprise Cost of Care solution domains, including deployment, optimization, scaling, and continuous improvement.
- Translate enterprise strategies into scalable operating models, implementation frameworks, operational playbooks, and standardized approaches that can be adapted to market-specific needs.
- Lead deployment initiatives across multiple markets, partnering with Market Presidents, physicians, practice leaders, and operational teams to support successful implementation and sustainable adoption.
- Assess market readiness, implementation maturity, operational barriers, and variation to determine deployment sequencing and optimization priorities.
- Conduct structured market optimization engagements and develop recommendations that improve solution consistency, effectiveness, adoption, and long-term sustainability.
- Analyze workflows, provider engagement, operational performance, and market feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and establish continuous feedback loops.
- Evaluate pilots and emerging initiatives, providing recommendations regarding operational readiness, scalability, and broader enterprise deployment.
- Partner with Product, Analytics, Technology, Clinical Operations, Network, and Market teams to coordinate implementation and resolve barriers within a highly matrixed environment.
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority, build alignment across enterprise and market teams, and ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and operationally sustainable.
- Provide executive-ready updates and recommendations covering deployment progress, adoption trends, implementation effectiveness, operational risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Partner with senior Cost of Care leadership to refine enterprise solutions in response to organizational priorities, market needs, and implementation learnings.
- Foster collaborative relationships, demonstrate sound judgment and accountability, support continuous learning, and contribute to other strategic initiatives as required.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, physician practice operations, population health, care management, value-based care, clinical operations, or a related healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated success implementing and operationalizing complex initiatives across multiple sites, markets, or business units.
- Experience partnering directly with physicians, practice leadership, and operational leaders to improve clinical, financial, or operational performance.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives within highly matrixed organizations and drive organizational change across multiple levels.
- Experience developing scalable operating models, implementation frameworks, operational playbooks, and standardized processes.
- Strong operational leadership skills, with the ability to translate enterprise strategy into measurable execution and sustainable results.
- Exceptional relationship-building, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, particularly when working with physicians and operational executives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority and navigate competing priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data, market feedback, and operational insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, facilitation, coaching, and change-management skills.
- Ability to balance enterprise standardization with the realities and requirements of individual markets.
- Preferred: Experience with physician organizations participating in value-based or risk-based payment models.
- Preferred: Experience scaling operational programs across geographically dispersed markets or leading transformation initiatives within physician-centric healthcare organizations.
- Competitive base salary: $129,700–$162,100 annually, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
