DevOps / Platform Engineer L2

Summary

As a Platform Engineer Level 2, you are responsible for developing infrastructure services and automation systems that improve deployments, observability, and operational stability. You collaborate with different engineering teams to improve developer productivity and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams
• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules (Terraform, CDK)
• Implement observability stacks (metrics, logs, and traces)
• Design and maintain shared development environments
• Integrate security best practices within platform tools
• Lead cloud resource provisioning automation

Requirements

Education and Experience

• University degree or equivalent experience
• 2 to 4 years of practical experience in platform, DevOps, or SRE roles

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and GitOps workflows
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience building release pipelines
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS/GCP) including IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, and Lambda
• Experience with containers (Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., ECS, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools
