DevOps Engineer (Strategy & Growth)

About the Role

We are building a new technical team within Universe Group and are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer who wants to shape infrastructure approaches, build scalable internal platforms, and create systems that enable faster and more independent product launches.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain infrastructure for multiple products and businesses
• Create reusable templates and boilerplates for rapid new product launches
• Configure and automate CI/CD processes
• Develop self-service and developer-friendly infrastructure approaches
• Build monitoring, security, and stability systems
• Help engineers resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues
• Influence technical standards and engineering practices across teams
• Participate in building AI-assisted infrastructure processes and automation workflows
• Shape platform engineering and DevEx approaches within the company

Who You Are

• Commercial experience with AWS
• Experience building infrastructure from scratch
• Practical experience with CI/CD and Docker
• Understanding of scalable architecture and modern DevOps / Platform Engineering approaches
• Ability to independently make and argue technical decisions
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing context
• Proactive, ownership mindset, ability to influence engineering practices

Nice to Have

• Experience creating self-service infrastructure
• Experience in multi-product or startup environment
• Experience with Railway or similar PaaS solutions
• DevEx / platform-thinking mindset
• Experience integrating AI into engineering workflows
