About the role

Accountabilities:

    • Translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and effective technical architectures and cloud solutions.
    • Analyze existing technical environments and map cloud and digital transformation opportunities to business outcomes.
    • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to teams building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and developing cloud-based features.
    • Design, implement, and improve DevOps practices across cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery processes using platforms such as Azure DevOps.
    • Implement infrastructure as code and automation using technologies such as ARM Templates, Terraform, Chef, or Ansible.
    • Apply security best practices across infrastructure, networking, applications, identity and access management, and data solutions.
    • Support the design and implementation of IaaS, PaaS, and serverless cloud architectures.
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts, preferably using PowerShell, to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
    • Contribute to software development and cloud solution delivery using technologies such as .NET Core, JavaScript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
    • Collaborate with IT, development, architecture, and other business teams to resolve technical challenges and provide long-term solution guidance.
    • Participate in Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure solutions and activities align with corporate standards and best practices.
    • Monitor emerging technologies, software development trends, and cloud innovations and identify opportunities to improve existing solutions.
    • Work effectively with geographically distributed teams and support initiatives across different time zones.
    • Take ownership of technical decisions, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and contribute ideas that challenge the status quo.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
      • Significant professional experience in a senior DevOps role, preferably within Microsoft Azure environments.
      • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless technologies.
      • Practical understanding of cloud security, infrastructure, networking, application architecture, IAM, and data analytics solutions.
      • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Azure DevOps.
      • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies such as Terraform, ARM Templates, Chef, or Ansible.
      • Experience with software development technologies including .NET Core, JavaScript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
      • Scripting experience, preferably with PowerShell.
      • Knowledge of Agile project delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
      • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
      • Strong consulting, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
      • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
      • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, make technical decisions, and proactively improve processes and solutions.
      • Fluent or proficient English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
      • Experience working remotely with teams distributed across different countries and time zones.
      • Azure certifications are considered an asset.
      • Knowledge of Active Directory, Power Automate, Power BI, Intune, Office 365, SQL/NoSQL databases, low-code development, or modern web technologies such as Angular, React, HTML5, and CSS3 is advantageous.
