About the role
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
- Create and evolve APIs, integration flows, and reusable connectors to support efficient communication between applications and systems.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate business and integration needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Develop data transformations and integration logic using DataWeave.
- Implement integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, as well as protocols and technologies such as HTTP/HTTPS, JMS, XML, and JSON.
- Apply appropriate authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration incidents, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes.
- Monitor and optimize integration performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Apply version-control and delivery practices using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with architecture, development, and business teams to define and implement integration solutions.
- Follow software development best practices, agile methodologies, and standards for secure and maintainable integration architecture.
- Proven professional experience developing integrations with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Hands-on knowledge of Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.
- Strong understanding of systems integration, REST/SOAP APIs, and API-led Connectivity architecture.
- Advanced experience with DataWeave for data transformation and manipulation.
- Solid knowledge of integration protocols, messaging, and authentication mechanisms, including HTTP/HTTPS, JMS, OAuth, JWT, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and monitoring of integration environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly when diagnosing integration failures and performance issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders and communicate complex integration concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and modern software engineering standards.
- Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering reliable and scalable solutions.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
