Accountabilities:

• • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize backend APIs and services using Node.js.
  • Build and improve integrations with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance, reliability, and data consistency.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, automated testing, version control, and maintainable development patterns.
  • Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams to understand requirements and define effective technical solutions.
  • Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring for junior and mid-level developers.
  • Contribute to backend architecture, system improvements, refactoring initiatives, and long-term technical sustainability.
  • Work with microservices and messaging technologies to support distributed and scalable applications.
  • Help identify technical risks and proactively solve complex backend engineering challenges.

  Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Node.js.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience building REST APIs and/or GraphQL services.
  • Advanced knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of Git and modern version-control practices.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
  • Experience with microservices architectures and messaging systems, including technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of backend application security practices and secure software development.
  • Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is a plus.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK is desirable.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive mindset, clear communication, collaboration, and a focus on quality and results.
