- Partner with the Clinical team on legal issues related to telehealth services, pharmacy review, and health information exchange data including contract interpretation, liability analysis, legal risk assessment, negotiation of health information exchange and related agreements, and drafting of state-specific consent language, disclosures, disclaimers, notices, and other user-facing legal documentation.
- Advise on intellectual property strategy, including patent, trade secret, and open-source software matters related to Hello Heart’s technology.
- Monitor relevant industry trends, emerging case law, enforcement actions, and litigation developments, including those related to AI and machine learning in healthcare, Food and Drug Administration requirements, telehealth, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, digital health intellectual property, and data rights.
- Partner with Sales and Client Support teams on commercial matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer agreements, amendments, and statements of work, and other customer-facing contractual arrangements, with a particular focus on supporting the Health Plan Sales Group.
