Data Research & AI Intelligence Specialist

Accountabilities

• • Use AI-powered tools, web research, data extraction, and scraping techniques to identify potential clients, partners, sponsors, investors, and strategic collaborators.
  • Conduct market and industry research across hospitality, beverage, culture, events, retreats, media, and related sectors to identify trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Investigate companies, organizations, individuals, projects, events, and markets to uncover relevant business intelligence and potential commercial relationships.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously enrich structured databases containing companies, contacts, opportunities, and research findings.
  • Design and improve AI-powered research, data collection, lead-generation, scraping, API, and automation workflows to increase research efficiency.
  • Collect, validate, cross-reference, and organize information from multiple sources while maintaining a high standard of data accuracy.
  • Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured information to identify patterns, relationships, trends, and commercial opportunities.
  • Prioritize and qualify opportunities based on potential value, relevance, strategic fit, and available evidence.
  • Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Independently investigate unfamiliar industries and subjects, quickly developing an understanding of their structure, key players, trends, and opportunities.
  • Continuously explore new AI tools, research techniques, and automation approaches that can improve data intelligence and opportunity discovery.

  Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in market research, business intelligence, lead generation, data research, growth, business development, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong curiosity and an investigative mindset, with a genuine interest in discovering information, connections, and opportunities that others may overlook.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and their practical applications in research, intelligence gathering, and business development.
  • Hands-on experience with web research, data extraction, web scraping, or automated research workflows.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to evaluate information and distinguish meaningful insights from noise.
  • Ability to process large amounts of unstructured information and transform it into organized, useful intelligence.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality, accuracy, and verification.
  • Ability to recognize patterns, connections, market signals, and potential commercial opportunities.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, CRM platforms, Airtable, Notion, or similar data-management tools.
  • Ability to independently research unfamiliar industries and quickly understand their business models, ecosystems, and key players.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in ambiguous or evolving environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple research priorities effectively.
