Job Description
The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the platform that services timely and accurate data for operational teams and business stakeholder decision makers. We work closely with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to transform data into meaningful business insights. We also work closely with DevOps to codify infrastructure as code and ensure our platform can scale.

- Deploy new data pipelines
- Design and build data observability platforms and metrics
- Build metadata driven pipeline solutions
- Monitor and optimize data transformations
- Build third party data integrations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science
- At least 4 years of work experience in software engineering
- Experience with one or more of the major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, Azure
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools and methodologies
- Experienced in SQL-based and python data manipulation with large datasets
- Thrive in a dynamic fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- You're unafraid to dive into an unfamiliar problem but humble enough to make mistakes and iterate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS and Terraform Experience in designing ELT/ETL workflows
- Programming experience in Python Experience administering/tuning Snowflake
Physical Requirements
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.
