About the role

Accountabilities

    • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, security frameworks, policies, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives, risk tolerance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Design and implement advanced security controls and technologies, including SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and other security solutions.
    • Design secure architectures for enterprise systems, networks, applications, and cloud environments, assessing risks and recommending appropriate security controls for new technology implementations.
    • Lead architecture, integration, and cybersecurity projects from planning through implementation, ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business objectives.
    • Develop implementation and integration plans, technical reports, presentations, diagrams, roadmaps, and other client-facing deliverables that clearly communicate recommended solutions.
    • Evaluate client business and technology challenges and translate them into secure, innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions using technical expertise and established industry practices.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining strong relationships, communicating progress and recommendations clearly, and addressing questions, concerns, and escalations effectively.
    • Work independently on complex assignments, including projects where requirements may be incomplete or evolving, while collaborating effectively with distributed remote teams.
    • Research emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends and contribute to thought leadership through presentations, whitepapers, internal training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
    • Apply recognized security and compliance frameworks and standards, including CIS, NIST, PCI, and HIPAA, across IT, network, cloud, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related technical discipline.
      • At least 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, information security, data security, network security, or a related field.
      • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, security architecture, network and system security, and industry best practices.
      • Demonstrated experience designing secure systems, networks, applications, and/or cloud environments, with an emphasis on Microsoft cloud infrastructure and applications.
      • Experience with one or more major cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, GCP, or the broader Microsoft Cloud ecosystem.
      • Expertise in one or more Microsoft security technologies such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Priva, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra, or SharePoint.
      • Experience with security-oriented solution management and integration, including CASB, IAM, PAM, PIM, SIEM, WAF, or SOAR technologies.
      • Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps/SecDevOps, infrastructure as code, automation, scripting, CI/CD, APIs, and integration technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, REST, or SOAP.
      • Familiarity with data management and analysis technologies such as ELK, NoSQL, SQL, data warehouses, and data lakes.
      • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to lead multiple complex cybersecurity or architecture initiatives simultaneously.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess ambiguous challenges and develop practical solutions.
      • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Ability to develop high-quality reports, presentations, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and integration strategies.
      • Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and remain effective in a remote, collaborative environment.
      • Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and best practices, including CIS, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, and related regulatory requirements.
