About the Role
The Customer Success team at Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager to maintain relationships with customers in the EMEA Defence and Intelligence segment. You will act as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for customers during their time with Planet, with a focus on client retention.
This is a full-time, remote position based in Germany, Austria, Slovenia or the Netherlands, requiring regular access to customers in the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Assist customers to expand their usage and adoption of products
- Onboard and train new clients
- Co-own contract renewal with sales
- Provide excellent customer experience and ensure successful delivery of services
- Produce timely solutions according to customer needs and goals
- Communicate consistently with clients throughout the contract lifecycle, escalating important issues where needed
- Work closely with Sales Representatives and other teams across the company
- Bring domain knowledge and serve as trusted advisor to Defence and Intelligence customers
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, account management or similar role
- Bachelor's degree
- Self-starter and creative thinker with excellent communication skills
- Domain expertise in defence and intelligence
- Working knowledge of remote sensing, GIS and geospatial imagery products
