About the role

Work Location: Remote - Applicants must live in Colorado or Oklahoma

This position takes crisis calls for the state of Colorado regardless of the state you are working in.

Full-Time Commitment: This is a 40-hour-per-week position. We offer competitive shift differential pay for weekends, evenings, and overnight schedules.

Education & Experience (Qualified Paths)

To be considered, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • Associate Degree in a behavioral health field, plus 2 years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health field, plus 1 year of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health or substance use field, plus behavioral health work experience preferred.

Behavioral health professionals and contact call center experience preferred.

As a Crisis Specialist, you'll be the first voice of support for individuals reaching out for help. Your superpowers will include assessment and referral of crisis calls, chats, or texts, ensuring safety, and coordinating care with finesse. You'll work closely with a wonderful team to transform challenges into opportunities for recovery and resilience!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Screen & Triage: Use your keen insight to assess and guide crisis interventions, utilizing our risk assessment tool to ensure safety and effective resolutions.
  • Empower Through Education: Share valuable mental health education and community resources, helping individuals navigate their path to recovery.
  • Team Player: Collaborate in training, meetings, and clinical oversight, enhancing your skills and knowledge while contributing to a supportive environment.
  • Document Your Impact: Ensure all interactions are documented accurately in our EHR, maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency.
