Maven Consumer is building its paid acquisition engine from the ground up, and great performance marketing is only as strong as the creative that fuels it. The Creative Strategist serves as the connective tissue between data and production: the person who identifies what’s converting, understands why, and translates those insights into briefs that move metrics.
This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of performance marketing, brand, and content. You’ll work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager and partner with Maven’s brand team, creators, and external agencies to build a rigorous, always-on creative testing engine. As targeting advantages continue to erode and AI reshapes how creative is produced and distributed, this role becomes increasingly critical—differentiation now comes from strategy and message quality, not asset volume alone.
This is a remote role open to candidates based in the United States, with a strong preference for those in San Francisco.
As a Creative Strategist, you will:
- Own the creative strategy for paid acquisition, developing and maintaining a weekly and monthly brief cadence across Meta, TikTok, and other paid channels; treat brief quality as the highest-leverage part of the job
- Translate performance data into creative direction by analyzing what’s working across hook rate, hold rate, CTR, and CVR, and turning those learnings into actionable briefs
