You
You’re a creative leader. You can see the tiniest seed of an idea and help a creative team nurture it into existence. Your feedback is considered, clear and actionable. You put a premium on the most thoughtful and guiding notes - tuning your approach to meet the needs of the creative team. You are a champion of a diverse team, helping them make the best work possible by actively listening, communicating and removing any blockers that emerge along the way. When we say TED meets Vox meets The Hustle meets Carl Sagan meets VICE, you know what we mean. You are curious. You could wake up every day with the mission to make science accessible and cool (while also fully understanding the importance of integrity and the nuance of precision). You’re a writer by trade. You’ve told a lot of stories, written a lot of taglines, scripts, captions, and subject lines. You’re ready for something that satisfies and expands and piques your intellect, your interpersonal talents, and of course, your microbiome.
This is a leadership role reporting to the SVP, Creative. And an opportunity to do amazing work alongside a wonderful assemblage of talented and kind human beings.
What You’ll Do:
- Create Big Ideas: You’ll be a catalyst for big thinking. Sometimes leading with creative foundations. Sometimes rolling up your sleeves and getting in there.
- Lead: You’ll mentor and guide your creative team to their best work. And put a premium on their growth and development.
- The Brand: You’ll be a guardian of the brand’s creative standards - tone, voice, look, feel, vibe. Striving
