Position Description
The Contracts & Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting commercial contracting and procurement execution across Oklo’s engineering, manufacturing, construction, operations, and corporate functions.
This role performs the full lifecycle of procurement and contracting activities, including supplier engagement, sourcing support, commercial negotiations, contract drafting and administration, purchase order management, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Legal, Finance, Quality, Construction, and Program Management teams.
The Contracts & Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring Oklo’s teams can efficiently engage suppliers, execute contracts, procure goods and services, and maintain compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements as the company scales toward fleet deployment.
Specific responsibilities may include:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Task Orders, Purchase Orders, consulting agreements, construction agreements, and engineering services contracts
- Support commercial negotiations related to pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, liability provisions, insurance requirements, and risk allocation
- Coordinate contract review and approval processes with Legal, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Program Management, and executive stakeholders
- Maintain contract records, amendments, renewals, deliverables, and closeout documentation
- Support development and continuous improvement of contracting processes, templates, and workflows
- Ensure procurement and contracting activities comply with internal procedures, quality requirements, export control regulations, and contractual obligations
- Track supplier documentation, certifications, quality records, and contractual requirements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding procurement and contracting activities
- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams to support project execution
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contracts administration
