About the role
Accountabilities:
- Lead cross-functional enterprise application projects for clients, overseeing delivery from planning through successful completion.
- Manage projects involving Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, HCM, EPM, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Fusion Middleware, and related technologies.
- Develop integrated project plans and schedules, including critical paths, milestones, dependencies, resources, budgets, and delivery objectives.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing transparent project status updates and maintaining strong relationships with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Lead globally distributed project teams, coordinating internal and external resources to ensure successful execution across geographies.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, schedules, scope, risks, quality, and performance, implementing corrective actions when required.
- Manage project requirements, configuration, performance measures, organizational changes, technology environments, and release schedules through formal change control processes.
- Balance customer expectations with project constraints while ensuring statements of work, cost baselines, and schedules remain aligned.
- Manage multiple unrelated projects simultaneously, providing clear visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes for both clients and internal leadership.
- Tailor project management methodologies and delivery approaches to project size, complexity, and business requirements using both Agile and Waterfall techniques.
- Conduct risk assessments, performance analyses, and other project health reviews to identify issues and recommend appropriate changes.
- Organize internal business functions and delivery teams to execute projects within agreed scope while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities to position additional services and solutions with strategic clients.
- Contribute to project management office standards, processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives across the broader portfolio.
- Take a hands-on approach when needed, supporting project documentation, presentations, planning materials, and other activities required to ensure successful delivery.
- 10+ years of project or program management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- At least 4 years of experience managing ERP, SCM, HCM, or EPM projects in cloud or on-premises environments.
- 15+ years of professional services experience leading projects for external or internal customers is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant technical or business discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of one or more Oracle technologies, including Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, HCM, EPM, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or Fusion Middleware.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex application implementation projects and converting challenging business requirements into effective technical and business solutions.
- Proven ability to lead globally distributed teams and work effectively within a global delivery model.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies; PMP certification or relevant Agile implementation experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills and confidence communicating project status, risks, and recommendations to C-suite and other senior client stakeholders.
- Excellent customer communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of project governance, budget management, scheduling, risk management, change control, and resource planning.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, particularly when addressing complex or unusual challenges requiring innovative solutions.
- Hands-on, proactive work ethic with a willingness to contribute beyond traditional project management responsibilities when required.
- Ability to make sound decisions that support successful project outcomes, customer value, and financial performance.
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, accountability, and ability to operate effectively in a remote environment.
