About the role
Accountabilities
- Edit and refine content for grammar, structure, tone, clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand standards before publication.
- Develop and support compelling narratives around product innovation, customer value, company news, and industry developments across multiple channels.
- Repurpose major announcements, research, events, and other source materials into blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, and sales enablement assets.
- Coordinate content workflows by tracking drafts, gathering stakeholder feedback, managing revisions, and helping teams stay aligned with deadlines.
- Support messaging and content development for conferences, webinars, customer events, and other marketing initiatives.
- Maintain high editorial and brand standards across communications and ensure messaging remains consistent across channels.
- Incorporate AI tools into research, drafting, editing, and content transformation workflows while applying independent editorial judgment.
- Apply SEO and AEO principles to improve content discoverability across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
- Provide occasional support for PR, media outreach, podcast promotions, executive communications, and other multimedia initiatives as needed.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in writing, editing, content marketing, communications, or a related field, including relevant internships, agency experience, or early-career marketing roles.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with excellent command of grammar, flow, tone, structure, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex subjects and communicate them clearly to different audiences.
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of a regular writing, research, editing, and content production workflow.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple content pieces, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with writers, designers, marketers, executives, and subject-matter experts.
- Familiarity with SaaS, B2B technology, LegalTech, enterprise software, or similar industries is an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of SEO and emerging answer-engine optimization practices is beneficial.
- Exposure to PR, media outreach, executive communications, or multimedia content is a plus.
- Curiosity, adaptability, resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment.
- Base salary of CAD $65,000–$68,000 annually.
