About the role
Overview
The Commercial Lead for North Africa reports to the General Manager of the French Speaking Africa Cluster within the Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD). This role is responsible for defining long-range strategic plans, implementing business processes, and ensuring efficient execution of key business initiatives across Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco.
Sales Performance
- Monitor Plan/LBE Sales and P&L figures on a monthly basis and achieve sales targets
- Develop annual sales volume, pricing and expense budgets
- Develop and implement sales strategy
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers
- Ensure continuous training and development of sales force with growth plans in place
- Formulate marketing strategies and coordinate development of marketing objectives, strategies, advertising and promotions
- Develop and implement sales force effectiveness (SFE) programs
- Determine and review ABC customer classifications
- Effectively manage sales teams' expense budgets
Operational Excellence
- Manage daily sales operations in the affiliate
- Create network with external stakeholders
- Oversee all types of contracts, employees, distribution, and third-party manufacturers (TPMs) in coordination with GM and Legal department
- Participate in TPM selection through audit visits and commercial negotiation
Compliance
- Ensure all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards
- Review complaints and suggestions relating to assigned products
