Commercial Counsel - German speaking

You will need to provide outstanding legal service, coordinate with internal teams, and support our continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and partnership agreements.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on data privacy, security, and intellectual property matters.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to structure deals and mitigate legal risks.
• Support the development and maintenance of legal templates, processes, and policies.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with active bar membership in at least one European jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial law, preferably with a focus on technology/SaaS.
• Deep knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and experience drafting DPAs.
• Native or business-fluent German and English language skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
