About the role
Accountabilities
- Review incoming resumes and applications to identify qualified clinical candidates and determine which applicants should advance in the recruitment process.
- Conduct clinician interviews, including consecutive calls during busy periods, to assess candidates against established clinical, behavioral, and operational criteria.
- Evaluate candidates using structured rubrics while applying sound judgment to identify clinicians with the skills, temperament, and motivation to succeed in the role.
- Build authentic relationships with candidates and provide a thoughtful, responsive, and engaging experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Keep clinicians informed about next steps, timelines, and decisions at each stage of the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system, including stages, interview notes, statuses, and follow-up actions.
- Manage the assigned portion of the recruitment pipeline and ensure candidate information remains complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Collaborate closely with the Provider Growth team to facilitate smooth handoffs between recruitment stages, including offer and onboarding.
- Adapt recruitment priorities and workflows as business needs evolve while maintaining a consistently high standard of candidate engagement.
- Previous experience in clinical, healthcare, professional, or specialized recruitment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to assess candidates thoughtfully beyond their resumes, identifying relevant experience, interpersonal qualities, clinical capabilities, and overall fit.
- Warm, personable, and empathetic communication style, with the ability to quickly establish trust and rapport with candidates.
- Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills, with excellent judgment and attention to behavioral and professional indicators.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, with the ability to manage candidate records, notes, follow-ups, and multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.
- Comfortable conducting a high volume of interviews, including back-to-back calls, while maintaining energy, focus, and consistency.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment where priorities may change from day to day.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a broader recruitment and provider growth team.
- Genuine interest in healthcare and in helping identify professionals motivated to support the mental health needs of older adults.
- Employment type: Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week.
