About the role
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for healthcare claims processing enhancements.
- Work closely with developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Analyze existing system functionality and assess the impact of requested changes.
- Document business processes, workflows, use cases, and functional specifications.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Facilitate discussions with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership.
- Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Clearly communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations.
- Support planning activities for system enhancements and future modernization initiatives.
Testing & Solution Delivery
- Support testing efforts, including requirements validation and defect analysis.
- Assist with system integration planning and implementation activities.
- Validate delivered functionality meets documented business requirements.
- Participate in solution reviews and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain business analysis documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Ensure documentation remains current and aligned with evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- Experience supporting healthcare or insurance claims processing systems.
- Strong understanding of claims processing and payment workflows.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating functional requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable facilitating discussions in a fully remote environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting healthcare or insurance claims processing systems.
