Business Tax Manager/ Senior Manager

About the Role

Mowery & Schoenfeld is seeking an ambitious and curious business tax manager or senior manager with particular interest and expertise in entity and business returns and issues, mentoring younger staff, seeking ongoing learning, and providing exemplary client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engagements by meeting client needs with a sense of urgency
• Develop recommendations and maintain client relationships by balancing client needs along with other assignments and deadlines
• Provide proactive advice based on knowledge of tax law, particularly within business tax
• Demonstrate initiative to creatively solve issues in collaboration with the lead
• Leverage technology to automate both internal and client processes to improve efficiency
• Act as a mentor to younger staff and work directly with Directors and Partners
