About the Role
Fetch is seeking a driven, proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to join its Breeder team. In this role, you will work closely with Business Development leadership to identify, engage and grow relationships with strategic partners in the Breeder space.
This is a high-impact, pipeline-building role ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relations from the ground up, and contributing directly to channel growth. You'll play a key role in expanding Fetch's footprint and driving new partnership opportunities in the Breeder space. This role will report to Fetch's Breeder Business Development manager.
Location: Remote (U.S.) - Midwest Preferred
Candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S.; however, Midwest-based candidates are strongly preferred due to regional alignment and travel needs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Activities:
- Develop a deep understanding of breeder needs and position our insurance program offering effectively
- Identify, research, and prospect strategic partners across the Breeder segment to generate new partnership opportunities
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach (email, phone) to engage and qualify leads
- Build, manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, tracking activity in CRM system
- Schedule and support meetings that advance partnership opportunities and drive conversion
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, to meet with prospective partners and build client relationships
Cross-Collaboration:
- Partner with Account Manager and Operations Manager to support onboarding and ensure a seamless partner experience
- Track and report on key performance metrics (pipeline growth, outreach effectiveness, conversion rates)
- Contribute insights from the field to help refine messaging, targeting, and go-to-market strategies
Operational Excellence:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and timely follow-through
- Proficiency in Google Suite, and CRM Experience is a plus
- Continuously optimize outreach strategies in partnership with Business Development team
Qualifications
Required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- 2-5 years of prior experience in business development, sales, partnership, or customer facing roles
- Ability to translate program benefits to the specific needs of strategic partners
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize as needed
- Experience in insurance, animal health, or pet-related industries
