About Privy

Privy's mission is to make privacy and user ownership the default online. They build simple, flexible developer tooling that make it easy to build products that put users first. By leveraging modern cryptography, they shift the status quo around digital ownership and protect the accounts and assets of millions of users.

About the Design Team

Design at Privy is strategy, not decoration. The design team is world-class and supported by design-minded engineers. They care deeply about craft, storytelling, and details that make experiences feel human. They're rethinking how decentralized tools can look and feel, believing that great design makes complex ideas intuitive, accessible, and beautiful.

The design team owns:

  • Visual identity and brand expression
  • Product design and UI/UX
  • User research
  • Motion, content, and storytelling
  • Design systems and scalable tooling

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing and brand assets across channels—social graphics, launch visuals, presentation decks, ebooks, printed collateral, and event signage
  • Partner closely with the marketing team to concept and execute campaigns and content including social series, product launches, and event assets
  • Work with Go-to-Market to create high-impact demos, prototypes, and storytelling assets that communicate Privy's value to developers and enterprise teams
  • Translate complex wallet infrastructure into simple, compelling narratives
  • Collaborate with product designers to infuse brand into product UI including empty states, onboarding moments, micro-animations, and data visualization patterns
  • Lead creative for updating and building new pages on the website—from visual concepts to final asset production
  • Evolve and maintain the visual identity by updating style guides, refining components, and expanding the brand system as the company grows
  • Maintain consistency across touchpoints while pushing the brand into new, distinctive territory
  • Build lightweight templates and systems to help the team scale content creation

Role Impact

As Privy's first Brand Designer, you'll take on high-impact projects that define how Privy shows up across digital, physical, and product surfaces, including expanding the visual system with additional visual assets and sub-languages such as illustration, iconography, motion styles, and social templates.
