About the Team
We're looking for an experienced regulatory licensing professional to manage our Audit & Regulatory Affairs team. You will coordinate with Stripe's Legal, Financial Crimes, Finance, Accounting, Product, and Security teams on regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and submit regulatory license applications
- Manage license renewals and license maintenance items
- Manage US regulatory exams and inquiries
- Oversee team day-to-day activities, with a focus on licensing and exam activities related to digital assets
- Help build, enhance, mature and evolve regulatory licensing and exam programs
- Serve as a key cross-functional partner across the organization
About the Role
Stripe's North America regulatory affairs program plays a critical role in ensuring Stripe effectively manages its regulatory requirements and ongoing regulatory obligations for certain licensed US and Canadian entities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deploy cross-functional licensing and regulatory exam management skills in a fast-paced environment, enhance regulatory risk management expertise, learn about digital assets, and lead a team of skilled professionals.
Ideal Candidate
You are a self-starter who is exceptionally organized, thorough, and detail-oriented. You have a background in financial services, payments, digital assets, or other regulated sectors. You are comfortable working in both technology and financial services environments.
