Associate Functional Consultant_HCM

Accountabilities

• • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, clarify, and document functional requirements.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud HCM modules to address business processes and organizational requirements.
  • Participate in Oracle Cloud implementation and upgrade projects across planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
  • Conduct workshops, knowledge-transfer sessions, and end-user training to support successful adoption.
  • Develop functional design documents, process documentation, test scenarios, and test cases.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on reports, integrations, customizations, and other technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to Oracle Cloud HCM, identifying root causes and appropriate solutions.
  • Support testing activities and help validate that configured solutions meet documented business requirements.
  • Provide post-implementation functional support and contribute to the resolution of user issues.
  • Monitor Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and assess relevant updates, enhancements, and potential impacts on business processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help optimize HCM processes and system functionality.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout implementation and support activities.

  Requirements

  • Experience or academic exposure relevant to functional consulting, enterprise applications, human capital management, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud HCM and its core functional concepts is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of business requirements gathering, functional analysis, process documentation, and solution configuration.
  • Ability to create functional specifications, test cases, and other implementation documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate functional issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to conduct or support workshops and end-user training sessions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across implementation and support activities.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across functional and technical teams.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and stay current with Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and enhancements.
  • Proactive approach to identifying process improvements and optimizing system functionality.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are desirable for documentation, workshops, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • A degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous, particularly in business, information systems, human resources, computer science, or a related field.
