About the role
Job Summary
As the Associate Director, Events Marketing, you will lead the strategy, performance and evolution of BillionToOne’s event marketing function across national prenatal conferences, regional and local prenatal events, and strategic experiential activations. You will be responsible for defining how event marketing drives commercial growth, strengthens customer engagement, and advances the BillionToOne brand.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role responsible for transforming event marketing into a scalable growth engine for the business. You will own the long-term vision for the event portfolio, investment strategy, pipeline generation, organizational design and operational excellence of the function. Success requires balancing strategic leadership with strong operational rigor while building systems that consistently deliver exceptional results.
The ideal candidate is a strategic marketing leader with deep expertise in event marketing, demand generation and organizational leadership. You are equally comfortable shaping executive strategy, analyzing business performance, coaching teams and building the processes that allow organizations to scale.
Event Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Own the long-term vision and strategy for BillionToOne's prenatal event marketing function, ensuring national conferences, regional programs, and experiential marketing work together to drive commercial objectives.
- Develop the annual event marketing strategy and investment plan, making data-driven recommendations on where the company should invest, expand, optimize, or reduce event spend based on business impact.
- Define audience segmentation, event portfolio strategy, channel mix, and integrated marketing approaches that maximize pipeline generation and customer engagement.
- Partner with Executive Leadership, Sales, Product Marketing / Marketing and Medical Affairs to ensure event marketing supports company priorities and go-to-market objectives.
Revenue Growth & Business Performance
- Own the event marketing function's contribution to pipeline generation, revenue, customer acquisition, and commercial performance.
- Establish KPIs and performance frameworks tied to pipeline, conversion, attendance quality, ROI, and business impact.
- Analyze performance across the event portfolio to optimize resource allocation, improve return on investment, and guide future strategy.
- Present executive-level business reviews and recommendations that influence marketing investment and commercial planning.
