About the role

Accountabilities:

    • Lead strategic account management activities across priority healthcare systems, academic centers, hospitals, and affiliated organizations within the assigned New England territory.
    • Champion institutional advocacy to support formulary adoption and appropriate use of approved neuroscience products.
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders and key decision-makers across sophisticated healthcare accounts.
    • Develop, execute, and continuously refine strategic account plans aligned with customer priorities and broader business objectives.
    • Create and implement short- and long-term engagement strategies with key opinion leaders and other influential stakeholders.
    • Identify evidence gaps related to products and disease education through appropriate engagement with healthcare thought leaders.
    • Partner with administrative, clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders to improve care pathways, treatment protocols, workflows, and patient access.
    • Apply knowledge of healthcare market dynamics, reimbursement models, and access trends to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
    • Develop tailored, institution-specific strategies in collaboration with local and cross-functional partners.
    • Lead cross-functional teams in aligning priorities, updating business plans, and achieving objectives across priority accounts.
    • Conduct regular customer needs assessments and translate insights into actionable recommendations, innovative solutions, and new opportunities.
    • Provide significant customer-facing engagement while coordinating effectively across functions such as Marketing, Medical, Market Access & Reimbursement, and Sales Leadership.
    • Monitor account performance and market developments to ensure strategies remain aligned with evolving customer and healthcare ecosystem needs.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
      • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly complex industries where field leadership and customer engagement are important.
      • At least 3 years of experience managing complex strategic accounts, ideally involving large academic medical centers, hospitals, or sophisticated healthcare systems.
      • At least 2 years of experience in project management and translating strategic priorities into effective execution.
      • Recent U.S. healthcare experience within the past five years, with a strong understanding of healthcare ecosystems and institutional decision-making.
      • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans while working effectively within a complex, matrixed organization.
      • Strong business acumen, customer insight, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
      • Ability to engage credibly with clinical, administrative, operational, financial, and executive stakeholders.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with effective digital and technology engagement skills.
      • Prior experience with neuroscience or assigned priority accounts is preferred.
      • Experience spanning at least two cross-functional disciplines, such as Marketing, Medical, Market Access & Reimbursement, or Sales Leadership, is desirable.
      • Must reside within the assigned territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of approximately 100 miles from the territory border.
      • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60–80% across a broad geographic territory, including travel by car and air.
      • A valid, unrestricted driver's license is required, as driving is an essential function of the position.
      • Ability to successfully complete required initial training, including home study, within the specified training schedule.
      • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and relocation support is not offered.
