Associate Database Developer - FS

Accountabilities:

• • Create electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) based on finalized study protocols and design specifications for Electronic Data Capture (EDC) studies.
  • Develop data-entry screens for paper-based studies using approved, annotated Case Report Forms.
  • Design, build, and test clinical databases in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Program field derivations, edit checks, consistency checks, validations, procedures, and business rules to support data quality.
  • Develop study reporting environments incorporating CRF and non-CRF data and transform collected data into required reporting formats.
  • Collaborate with data management and study management teams during study start-up to understand requirements and deliver appropriate database solutions.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver accurate, timely work while maintaining a strong focus on stakeholder and customer experience.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or international equivalent, from an accredited institution, preferably in a technical field; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may also be considered.
  • 0–3 years of practical experience with commercial clinical data management systems and/or Electronic Data Capture (EDC) platforms such as Oracle RDC/Inform, Medidata Rave, or DataLabs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge or practical experience across the primary responsibilities of clinical database development is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of SQL programming experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with drug development and clinical trial processes is desirable.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks, manage deadlines, and contribute to a positive customer experience.
  • Willingness to learn clinical data management processes, database technologies, and study-specific requirements.
