About The Team

The Financial Services Sales team is dedicated to building relationships and driving sales with hedge funds, asset management firms, investment banks, and private equity firms. We engage with all levels within these organizations, from Junior Analysts and Portfolio Managers to Directors of Research and Heads of Equities. Our specialists understand the unique needs and challenges of the financial services industry and excel at delivering tailored solutions. With a highly tenured team, we bring extensive experience and deep industry knowledge, ensuring our clients receive expert guidance and support.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious new business sales professional to join our expanding Financial Services Sales team, specialising in Financial Markets. This role offers the chance to join a fast-growing company and drive sales of our acclaimed product, which is gaining rapid global traction. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our company's growth and future achievements.

Who You Are

  • Accomplished Sales Professional: Possesses 2+ years of SaaS sales experience in value-based, consultative environments, with a focus on Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated success engaging end-user personas such as Analysts, Associates, and Portfolio Managers, and consistently exceeding targets in new business acquisition roles.
  • Resilient and Driven: Excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments, effectively managing multiple priorities with a proactive and determined approach. Recognized for strong work ethic, initiative, and consistent performance.
  • Curious and Coachable: Adept at uncovering business challenges across organizational levels, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous learning and development through AlphaSense’s training programs.
  • Technical Sales Expertise: Proficient in utilizing modern sales processes and technology stacks, conducting effective product demonstrations, and managing multiple client trials concurrently.
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
