Application Developer

Accountabilities:

• • Design and develop scalable application and platform solutions using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL, translating business requirements into pragmatic technical blueprints.
  • Collaborate with engineers, researchers, data specialists, and other cross-functional stakeholders to create efficient and maintainable solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Build responsive, reliable applications and continuously improve their quality, performance, maintainability, and user experience.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and Web API-based services while applying sound object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
  • Follow established coding standards, development best practices, version-control processes, and repository management practices.
  • Participate in Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, development, and timely completion of assigned work.
  • Work closely with technical leads and senior developers to troubleshoot issues, resolve technical challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Share knowledge gained through client-facing meetings, requirements discussions, and whiteboarding sessions with the broader engineering team.
  • Contribute to technical proposals and solution documentation alongside other engineers.
  • Participate in improving development practices, engineering standards, quality processes, and team productivity.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning by exploring and adopting relevant technologies, techniques, and development practices.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline; a strong academic background is preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular 13 or later.
  • Strong development experience with ASP.NET Core 6/7 and the broader .NET ecosystem.
  • Solid proficiency in C#, object-oriented programming concepts, and structured software development.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and Web API concepts.
  • Strong SQL development and database-querying skills.
  • Strong general programming and logical reasoning capabilities.
  • Understanding of version-control systems, particularly Git; experience with Azure DevOps is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex technical challenges methodically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and master new technologies and development techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional Agile team and manage assigned work against defined sprint timelines.
