About the role
Accountabilities
- Operate and maintain the corporate IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance of critical services.
- Monitor and respond to events, alerts, and infrastructure incidents using tools such as Zabbix.
- Perform initial investigation and response to information security incidents, escalating issues when necessary.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments.
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments, including identity and access-related activities.
- Operate corporate networks and troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and infrastructure issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Operate and administer security solutions, including firewalls, SSE, XDR, and SIEM platforms.
- Support backup routines, patching, system updates, and infrastructure hardening activities.
- Support access control, identity management, and technology governance processes.
- Interact with data center, connectivity, security, and other technology providers to resolve incidents, changes, and problems.
- Support Microsoft SQL Server environments through routine activities, connectivity troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Register, document, and maintain service tickets in accordance with ITIL processes and operational best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in infrastructure reliability, security, and operational processes.
- Previous experience in IT infrastructure, advanced technical support, or similar corporate technology environments.
- Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Solid understanding of data networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools, particularly Zabbix.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
- Practical experience with operational information security tools and processes.
- Experience with firewalls such as Fortinet or Check Point.
- Familiarity with Cisco Umbrella and corporate endpoint protection solutions such as Trend Micro Apex One.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including routine operations, connectivity, and support.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident-analysis capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively in critical operational environments.
- Analytical, organized, disciplined, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external technology providers.
- Sense of ownership and responsibility for operational continuity.
- Willingness to work 100% on-site in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.
- Experience in 24/7 operations, NOC, or SOC environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, system hardening, and vulnerability management practices.
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
- Technical certifications in areas such as Microsoft, Linux, Fortinet, Check Point, ITIL, or information security.
- Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell or Shell.
