<h2><strong>Role Overview</strong></h2>

<p>We are seeking an <strong>AI Solution Developer / Software Developer</strong> to help establish and scale enterprise-grade AI capabilities across our organization. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a technically versatile professional who can design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and automations using the <strong>Microsoft AI ecosystem</strong>, including <strong>Azure AI Foundry</strong> and the <strong>Power Platform</strong>.</p>

<p>This role blends software engineering, solution architecture, and applied AI development. You will work across business and technology teams to rapidly translate ideas into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions—while also helping define the standards, patterns, and governance that will shape our long-term AI capability.</p>

<p>This position is aligned to a <strong>senior individual contributor profile</strong> (comparable to <strong>SFIA Level 5 – Ensure/Advise</strong>), with opportunities to grow into broader influence and capability leadership as our AI function matures.</p>

<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>

<h3><strong>AI Solution Development</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, copilots, and agent-based workflows using <strong>Azure AI / Microsoft Foundry</strong></li>

<li>Build scalable integrations across enterprise systems, Microsoft 365, and Azure services</li>

<li>Develop and optimize prompts, workflows, and model orchestration strategies for real-world use cases</li>

</ul>

<h3><strong>Power Platform & Automation</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Develop solutions using <strong>Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse</strong></li>

<li>Extend low-code solutions with custom APIs, connectors, and Azure services</li>

<li>Partner with business teams to deliver governed, enterprise-ready automation solutions</li>

</ul>

<h3><strong>Solution Design & Business Alignment</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Translate business needs into scalable technical designs and AI-enabled workflows</li>

<li>Advise stakeholders on architecture, tradeoffs, and appropriate use of AI vs. traditional automation</li>

<li>Contribute to reusable solution patterns and development standards</li>

</ul>

<h3><strong>Governance, Security & Responsible AI</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Ensure solutions align with enterprise <strong>security, compliance, and data governance policies</strong></li>

<li>Apply responsible AI practices, including testing, monitoring, and human oversight</li>

<li>Support the development of AI lifecycle standards (development, evaluation, deployment, support)</li>

</ul>

<h3><strong>Capability Building</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Help establish foundational practices, templates, and reusable components for AI development</li>

<li>Provide guidance and mentoring to IT teams and business stakeholders</li>

<li>Contribute to the evolution of internal AI standards, tooling, and best practices</li>

<h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2>

<h3><strong>Required</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Experience developing applications in the <strong>Microsoft ecosystem</strong> (Azure, APIs, integrations)</li>

<li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Azure AI services or similar AI/ML platforms</strong></li>

<li>Experience with <strong>Power Platform</strong> (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or Copilot Studio)</li>

<li>Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar)</li>

<li>Experience integrating systems via APIs and enterprise data sources</li>

<li>Ability to translate business requirements into working technical solutions</li>

</ul>

<h3><strong>Preferred</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Experience developing or deploying <strong>AI-driven applications or automation solutions in production</strong></li>

<li>Familiarity with <strong>AI governance, model evaluation, and responsible AI practices</strong></li>
