About the role
Accountabilities
- Design and deliver AI learning programs, workshops, office hours, microlearning, manager sessions, learning campaigns, and community-of-practice resources.
- Build role-based learning pathways in partnership with HR, Talent, and business stakeholders to address evolving AI-related capability needs.
- Develop practical enablement materials for approved AI platforms such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and similar tools.
- Create prompt examples, use-case guides, quick-reference resources, job aids, facilitation materials, and reusable AI playbooks for non-technical audiences.
- Teach employees how to apply AI responsibly to common business activities such as drafting, summarization, analysis, meeting preparation, communications, and learning design.
- Develop quality checklists and guidance covering AI output accuracy, completeness, usefulness, tone, evidence, source validation, and appropriate next steps.
- Reinforce human judgment, review, accountability, and responsible use when employees incorporate AI into their work.
- Partner with stakeholders across HR, Technology, Legal, Information Security, Communications, and business functions to ensure learning content reflects approved AI practices.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person sessions, workshops, peer-learning discussions, and adoption initiatives for employees, managers, and functional teams.
- Support AI champions, learning ambassadors, and function-specific adoption programs.
- Track participation, completion, learner feedback, proficiency indicators, and practical adoption signals to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Use learner insights and adoption patterns to continuously improve learning content, resources, and enablement programs.
- Coordinate learning calendars, program launches, stakeholder inputs, communications, and ongoing adoption activities.
- Escalate questions concerning AI risk, governance, privacy, security, or prohibited use to the appropriate subject matter experts.
- 7–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Enablement, Organizational Development, Change Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience designing and delivering learning programs, workshops, job aids, scalable enablement resources, and role-based learning experiences.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise technology adoption, digital capability-building, change initiatives, or workforce upskilling programs.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, or comparable enterprise AI platforms.
- Strong practical knowledge of prompt writing, AI output evaluation, responsible AI practices, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Ability to translate AI concepts into clear, practical resources and teach non-technical audiences how to apply AI effectively.
- Strong instructional design, facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and program coordination capabilities.
- Strong project management discipline, including planning, content development, stakeholder coordination, and execution.
- Ability to operate independently while remaining aligned with enterprise AI guidance, policies, and stakeholder priorities.
- Comfortable facilitating both virtual and in-person learning experiences for employees, managers, and functional teams.
- Ability to synthesize learner and program insights into clear recommendations for HR, Talent, and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree required; a master's degree in Learning, Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Talent Development, Business, HR, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with AI adoption, digital transformation, change management, workforce upskilling, learning communities, or manager enablement is an asset.
- Familiarity with responsible AI, AI governance, data privacy, or information security principles as they relate to employee learning is preferred.
- Competitive salary: CAD $100,000–$120,000 annually, with the final offer dependent on location, skills, knowledge, and experience.
