AI Developer Enablement Engineer

Accountabilities:

• • Design, develop, and maintain internal AI-powered tooling that supports automated remediation, migration, and modernization workflows across developer platforms.
  • Build and integrate AI solutions, including LLM-based assistants, code analysis agents, and AI-enabled tools within existing developer workflows.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into build processes, upgrade cycles, security patching workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and first point of support for developers encountering issues with AI-enabled development tools.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across AI tooling, developer workflows, and supporting infrastructure, providing timely and practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve development efficiency, automation, and software maintenance.
  • Build new tools from the ground up while also configuring, deploying, and optimizing existing AI platforms and services.
  • Monitor adoption and measure the business and engineering impact of AI initiatives, including faster upgrades, reduced remediation effort, and cost avoidance.
  • Gather developer feedback and analyze usage patterns to continuously improve internal tooling, usability, reliability, and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation and knowledge sharing around AI-assisted software development.

  Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and the ability to build reliable production-quality tooling.
  • Hands-on experience building, integrating, or deploying AI/LLM-powered tools, such as solutions using OpenAI APIs, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or comparable technologies.
  • Practical understanding of developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and software development processes.
  • Comfortable working with Linux CLI and/or Windows-based development environments.
  • Ability to design and build new tooling from scratch as well as configure and deploy existing AI platforms and developer tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to act as a go-to technical resource when systems or tools fail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, platform teams, and other technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
  • Experience with security remediation, dependency management, or legacy code modernization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with platform engineering and internal developer platform (IDP) concepts is desirable.
  • A practical, curious mindset and enthusiasm for applying emerging AI technologies to real-world engineering challenges.
