About the role

Role Overview

Own the website and trial funnel at Close, from the moment a visitor lands on the site to when they become an active trial user. You'll manage every conversion surface: landing pages, headlines, CTAs, signup flows, and pricing pages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the website roadmap and treat it as a growth product with constant optimization
  • Build and run an agent-augmented testing machine that ships experimentation output at scale
  • Manage all conversion surfaces and trial funnel optimization
  • Conduct experiments on homepage, trial flow, and other high-leverage conversion points
  • Develop agent-driven workflows for hypothesis generation, variant production, QA, and launch
  • Integrate LLM-powered discovery and answer engine strategies into content and SEO
  • Own website messaging, architecture, and technical optimization

About You

  • Conversion-obsessed operator who treats the website as a product with roadmap and hypothesis
  • AI-native practitioner who builds agent-assisted workflows for testing at scale
  • Hands-on: write copy, pull data, brief engineers, review design, ship independently
  • Modern search literate with understanding of traditional SEO and LLM-powered answer engines
  • Technical enough to read HTML/CSS/JS and work close to the code layer
  • Systems thinker with fluency in CAC, LTV, and payback period
  • 8-12 years of growth experience at SaaS or PLG companies owning website performance and trial funnel optimization
  • Able to point to specific experiments, learnings, and failures from past work
