Agentic Engineer Level

Accountabilities:

• • Design, develop, and refine high-quality prompts for LLM-based agents, with a focus on reliable behavior and consistent task execution.
  • Build and scale agentic tools and workflows using a no-code automation platform comparable to Workato, Zapier, or n8n.
  • Integrate internal and external REST APIs, managing authentication, data mapping, webhooks, JSON payloads, and error handling.
  • Develop production-ready agent workflows with appropriate unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and validation processes.
  • Apply resilient engineering patterns such as retries, timeouts, idempotency, lazy loading, and robust non-happy-path handling.
  • Optimize agent workflows for performance, scalability, cost efficiency, reliability, and fault tolerance.
  • Identify and resolve workflow failures and integration issues, ensuring dependable operation across different scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Delivery, and other technical stakeholders to design, test, and launch production-grade agentic solutions.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices and continuously improve the quality, maintainability, and scalability of AI-powered workflows.
  • Support monitoring and observability of deployed solutions, identifying opportunities to improve production performance and reliability.

  Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of professional experience as a Software Development Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a comparable engineering role.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to translate technical requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Solid understanding of prompt engineering and LLM behavior, including the ability to design prompts that produce consistent and useful agent responses.
  • Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON-based integrations, authentication, and data mapping.
  • Strong experience with unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and identifying root causes of technical issues.
  • Understanding of resilient system design and engineering patterns, including retries, timeouts, idempotency, fault tolerance, and handling non-happy-path scenarios.
  • Ability to think systematically about reliability, performance, scalability, and cost when designing automated workflows.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Product, QA, Delivery, and engineering teams.
  • A proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to solving complex technical problems.
  • Experience with no-code or low-code automation platforms is a plus.
  • Exposure to agentic AI, conversational AI, workflow orchestration, or intelligent automation systems is desirable.
  • Familiarity with production observability and monitoring practices is an advantage.
