About the role

Accountabilities

    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Account Brokers and client teams in managing insurance and risk requirements.
    • Communicate with clients through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to understand and support their insurance needs.
    • Assist with pre-renewal, renewal, and post-renewal activities, including preparing quotations, endorsements, certificates of currency, cancellations, and renewal reports.
    • Prepare, lodge, and invoice insurance policies accurately and within required timeframes.
    • Support client meetings, tender processes, renewals, claims, and other insurance broking activities as required.
    • Coordinate with Senior Brokers, Underwriters, Client Executives, Client Managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and administration throughout the policy lifecycle.
    • Build positive and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to a consistently strong client experience.
    • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
    • Requirements

      • Previous experience in insurance administration, client service, broking support, financial services, or a closely related environment is advantageous.
      • Genuine interest in developing a career within the insurance industry.
      • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
      • Good problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
      • Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team while also taking ownership of tasks independently.
      • Proactive, curious, highly motivated, and engaged approach to work.
      • Strong customer-service orientation and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
      • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office 365, email platforms, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, and similar workplace tools.
      • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
      • Strong interest in developing broader insurance, risk, and corporate client-management capabilities.
