<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We're looking for a highly analytical and intellectually curious Actuarial Analyst to join Clover's actuarial rotational program. This role is designed to provide broad exposure to multiple actuarial disciplines while building a strong technical foundation in Medicare Advantage.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">As an Actuarial Analyst, you'll work alongside experienced actuaries and business leaders on projects spanning financial forecasting, reserving, medical economics, pricing, value-based care, revenue and risk adjustment analysis, and operational strategy. Through rotational assignments, you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of the Medicare Advantage business while building the analytical, technical, and business skills needed for long-term success.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving challenging problems, working with large datasets, and using quantitative analysis to influence business decisions.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>As an Actuarial Analyst, you will:</strong></span></h2>

<ul>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Perform quantitative analyses</strong> that support key actuarial functions, including financial forecasting, medical cost analysis, revenue optimization, reserving, pricing, risk adjustment, and value-based care initiatives.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Develop and maintain analytical models</strong> using actuarial principles, statistical methods, and large healthcare datasets to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Partner with actuaries and cross-functional business leaders</strong> to analyze operational and financial performance, investigate emerging trends, and develop data-driven recommendations.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive presentations</strong> that communicate complex analytical findings and support business planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Support enterprise financial planning</strong> by analyzing medical costs, revenue drivers, risk adjustment performance, utilization trends, and other key business metrics across the Medicare Advantage business.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate analyses</strong> using SQL, Excel, Python, and other AI analytical tools.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Participate in rotational assignments</strong> across multiple actuarial disciplines to develop broad business knowledge and technical expertise while contributing to strategic initiatives across the organization.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Support special projects and innovation initiatives</strong> that improve healthcare affordability, operational performance, member outcomes, and enterprise financial results.</span></li>

<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Success in this role looks like</strong></span></h2>

<ul>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>In your first 90 days, you will: </strong>Build relationships across the Actuarial organization and become familiar with Clover's Medicare Advantage business. Learn Clover's analytical tools, financial models, and reporting processes. Contribute to recurring analyses while developing a strong understanding of actuarial methodologies and business operations.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>After 6 months, you will: </strong>Independently own recurring analyses and deliver accurate, timely insights to support business decision-making. Develop technical expertise in actuarial modeling, healthcare analytics, and financial forecasting. Successfully complete your first rotational assignment while building relationships across multiple actuarial functions.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Future success in this role includes:</strong> Becoming a trusted analytical partner to business leaders and cross-functional teams. Developing expertise across multiple actuarial disciplines before transitioning into a specialized role. Continuing progress toward actuarial credentials while building a long-term career at Clover.</span></li>

<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>You should get in touch if you have</strong><strong>:</strong></span></h2>

<ul>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Experience:</strong> 2-4 years of experience in healthcare finance, analytics, actuarial, consulting, strategy, operations, or a related field. Successful completion of one or more Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams is required.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Industry Knowledge:</strong> Experience in Medicare Advantage, managed care, or value-based healthcare preferred.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Analytical Skills:</strong> Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and complex business questions.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> SQL and Excel skills required; experience with Python, R, AI tools, Github, and business intelligence platforms preferred.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Communication:</strong> Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.</span></li>
