About the role
Accountabilities:
- Handle daily administrative activities for the Account Servicing department, including account research, customer requests, data entry, and the distribution of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Accurately upload and maintain documents within the designated system of record, ensuring information is complete and properly organized.
- Review and respond to emails and inquiries relating to account balances, payoffs, and appropriate account decisions.
- Correspond with title companies when required to support subordination-related requirements and documentation.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and quality standards to complete assigned work accurately and within required deadlines.
- Provide support and backup coverage for other Administrative Assistants and assist with cross-training administrative staff on assigned processes.
- Support general office operations by greeting visitors and staff, coordinating visitor accommodations, maintaining an organized workspace, and providing appropriate information and assistance.
- Take on additional administrative projects and responsibilities as assigned by management, adapting effectively as priorities change.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- At least 2 years of office administration and/or customer service experience.
- Strong typing and computer skills, with the ability to enter information accurately and efficiently into business systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while handling repetitive or deadline-sensitive tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a professional and courteous telephone presence.
- Ability to follow direction, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and contribute positively to a team environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities, working under deadlines, and maintaining concentration in a busy administrative setting.
- Reliable, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to respond productively to changing requirements.
- The role is fully onsite Monday through Friday, with a schedule of either 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
- The work environment involves significant time sitting, typing, using a computer, and communicating by telephone.
- Salary: $18.00–$19.00 per hour.
