About the job

This role is located in Japan - We are a remote work environment for 2026 with future plans to open up an office in 2027.

Candidates must possess a valid Japanese work visa at the time of application. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

About You

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in complex SaaS sales cycles, from prospecting to close.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales scenarios and provide creative solutions.
  • Experience selling complex enterprise software solutions to Japanese clientele within a high growth startup, or scale up environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to contribute to building scalable sales processes.
  • Experience either working at a Start-up or helping to develop a new business unit in an multi-national company is a plus.
  • Genuine, humble, and intellectually curious, with a passion for learning about manufacturing and technology.
  • Strong customer-centric approach, focused on building long-term relationships.
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player.

What skills do I need?

  • 5-8+ years of proven success in SaaS sales, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding quota in previous sales roles.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Highly productive communication skills, with ability to manage multiple emails, phone calls, social media, and more each day.
  • Knowledge of MES, or other manufacturing software is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high volume of activity.
  • Business level of English to communicate with internal team and handle English knowledge database.
  • Business level of Japanese to communicate with clients and stakeholders.
