About The Role
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and networking activities.
- Manage the sales process from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, priorities, and technology initiatives.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to school and trust stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales documentation.
- Maintain regular communication with prospects and customers throughout the buying process.
- Support customer renewal and expansion conversations when appropriate.
- Build and maintain an accurate pipeline within Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, webinars, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and customer events as required.
- Stay informed on education technology trends and market developments.
About You
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a customer-facing commercial role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable engaging customers via phone, email, video meetings, and in-person presentations.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Self-motivated with a desire to build a successful career in sales.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or EdTech environments.
- Familiarity with the UK education sector.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
