Position Overview
This is a part-time, remote co-op role for software engineers as part of the Raytheon Cooperative Education Program. The position targets senior or postgraduate students with expected graduation dates of May 2027 or August 2027 in Computer Science or related STEM fields. The part-time position is planned to begin in Summer 2026.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (TS/SCI without Polygraph)
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Enrolled as a senior or postgraduate student in Computer Science or related STEM field
- Expected graduation date of May 2027 or August 2027
- Must maintain eligibility for U.S. Government security clearance throughout the program and subsequent employment
- Will complete Standard Form 86 (SF-86) as part of the clearance process
Program Details
Co-op participants will complete a Co-op Program Agreement and be submitted for a U.S. Government security clearance. A Raytheon Co-op Program Information Seminar will be scheduled in conjunction with candidate interview sessions.
