Position Overview
The Student Success Coordinator serves as the strategic and operational lead for student engagement, attendance, and success programming across JCA of Ohio, VPA of Ohio, and PCA of Ohio. This role ensures the consistent implementation of high-quality Student Success systems across all three schools, aligning to network expectations while adapting to each school’s unique student population.
As a member of the administrative leadership team, the coordinator oversees Success Coaches, leads and develops onboarding and engagement programming, and partners closely with school leadership to remove barriers to student achievement. This role requires strong cross-school leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to build systems that drive measurable improvements in attendance, persistence, engagement, and academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Oversight
- Serve as the Student Success leader across all three schools, ensuring consistency and fidelity of implementation.
- Directly supervise and manage Success Coaches across JCA, VPA, and PCA, including hiring input, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
- Supervise and develop Success Coaches, including coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Design, implement, and monitor Student Success programming aligned to onboarding and engagement frameworks.
- Lead and manage re-enrollment efforts across all three schools, ensuring a coordinated, data-driven approach to retaining students year over year.
- Partner with school leadership and Operations to execute re-enrollment campaigns, including communication plans, outreach to undecided/unknown families, and tracking of return intent.
- Act as a mentor and role model for staff, building a culture of accountability and student-centered support.
