Sr. IT Project Manager, I&O
About the role
Job Title:
Senior IT Project Manager
Summary:
The Senior IT Project Manager, I&O, is a critical leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream infrastructure programs across Meriton. This position requires a seasoned practitioner who can operate with strategic clarity and tactical precision — translating I&O objectives into executable plans, navigating ambiguity, and consistently delivering measurable business outcomes.
The Senior PM will serve as the primary delivery lead for high-priority infrastructure initiatives spanning cloud migration, data center operations, network modernization, end-user computing, and IT service delivery. In addition to direct project ownership, this role will partner closely with the Enterprise Systems PMO to uphold shared standards, governance rigor, and cross-functional alignment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project & Program Leadership
- Own the full project lifecycle — initiation through closing — for complex, multi-workstream IT infrastructure programs and portfolios
- Translate I&O strategic objectives into program charters, integrated roadmaps, and measurable success metrics (KPIs/OKRs)
- Manage a concurrent portfolio of initiatives, balancing capacity, risk, cross-program dependencies, and critical path constraints
- Define and maintain integrated program and project plans, including milestones, release schedules, and resource forecasts
- Lead structured risk, issue, and change management processes; develop remediation and mitigation plans; escalate critical items to senior leadership with clear context and recommended actions
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs — holding third parties accountable to delivery commitments and quality standards
PMO Standards & Governance
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve PMO standards, templates, and processes for IT Infrastructure in alignment with the Enterprise Systems PMO
- Champion consistent practices for project intake, prioritization, and approval in partnership with I&O leadership
- Drive executive-level status reporting, dashboards, and communication routines — delivering data-driven insights on portfolio health, spend, and risk
- Apply and promote the appropriate delivery methodology (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid) based on project context and stakeholder needs
- Ensure financial governance discipline: forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and timely escalation of budget risks across programs
Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as the primary point of contact and accountability for program stakeholders across IT, Finance, Security, and Business units
- Facilitate requirements gathering, scope definition, and decision-making with technical and non-technical audiences
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability frameworks aligned to I&O delivery standards
- Communicate project status, risks, and decisions with precision and executive presence
