The Project Manager, Solar O&M is responsible for the continuous improvement and pricing of operations and maintenance services for Pearce Renewables. The candidate will have strong interaction with external customers and internal stakeholders such as Sales, Business Operations, Field Operations, Procurement to drive growth and optimization of our solar service offerings to the U.S. market. Must possess the ability to interpret customer requirements, match services to customer specifications/drawings, and ensure that the quote is technically compatible and competitive by communicating with the Field Operations team to determine/clarify project requirements. Understands, analyzes, documents, and communicates contractual, technical, and commercial terms and has a working understanding of bid strategies. This individual will present a quotation package with comments on exceptions and built-in value to customers to ensure quality output.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from customers.
- Works directly with electrical contractors to receive, review, and approve bids.
- Identifies and onboard new electrical contractors to strengthen Pearce’s offerings.
- Drives improvement in the subcontractor onboarding process reducing delays and improving coverage.
- Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects and maximizes business opportunities.
- Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses.
- Partners with Procurement leaders to meet with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
- Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Manages the relationship with the customer and relevant stakeholders.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors.
